At Kenzora Living, Shivamogga, Karnataka, we manufacture ready-made, customized, and made-to-order sofas and furniture according to the requirements agreed with each customer.

We aim to provide durable construction, suitable materials, proper workmanship, and reliable after-sales support. Where a warranty is applicable to a product or specific component, the warranty is provided according to the terms communicated and agreed with the customer at the time of purchase.

Because our furniture can be customized using different materials, foam specifications, fabrics, leather, frames, designs, and construction methods, warranty coverage may vary from one product or order to another.

This Warranty Policy explains the general conditions applicable to warranty claims.

1. Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage applies only where a warranty has been specifically provided for the customer’s product or particular component.

The applicable warranty period and covered items will be communicated to the customer during the order confirmation or purchase process.

Depending on the product and the terms agreed at the time of purchase, warranty coverage may apply to certain components or materials such as:

  • Foam
  • Fabric
  • Leather or upholstery material
  • Frame or structural components, where specifically covered
  • Manufacturing workmanship, where specifically covered
  • Other components expressly included in the customer’s warranty terms

The exact warranty period and coverage applicable to a particular order will be based on the warranty terms communicated to the customer at the time of purchase.

2. Warranty Is Product-Specific

Not every component of every Kenzora Living product necessarily carries the same warranty period or coverage.

For example, the warranty applicable to foam may differ from the warranty applicable to fabric, leather, frame construction, or other components.

Customers should refer to the warranty details communicated with their specific order for the applicable coverage.

Where a particular component or material has not been expressly included in the applicable warranty, it may not be covered.

3. Foam Warranty

Where foam is covered under the customer’s warranty, the warranty applies to manufacturing-related issues covered by the agreed warranty terms.

Foam is a cushioning material and its appearance and feel can naturally change with regular use.

Normal changes resulting from:

  • Regular sitting
  • Usage over time
  • Compression
  • Settling
  • Changes in softness or firmness
  • Normal wear

may not necessarily constitute a manufacturing defect.

The warranty assessment will consider the nature of the issue, the applicable warranty terms, usage conditions, and the condition of the product.

4. Fabric and Leather Warranty

Where fabric or leather is specifically covered under the customer’s warranty, coverage applies only to the conditions expressly included in the applicable warranty terms.

Normal characteristics and changes associated with upholstery materials may not constitute a warranty defect.

This may include normal:

  • Wear from usage
  • Colour variation
  • Fading caused by sunlight or environmental exposure
  • Surface changes
  • Minor texture variations
  • Creasing
  • Stretching
  • Changes caused by regular use
  • Damage caused by cleaning products or improper maintenance

Warranty coverage will be determined according to the material used and the specific warranty terms provided for the customer’s order.

5. Frame and Structural Warranty

Where the frame or structural construction is expressly covered by warranty, the warranty applies to manufacturing-related structural issues covered under the agreed warranty terms.

The warranty does not normally cover structural damage caused by:

  • Excessive or improper loading
  • Jumping on the sofa
  • Misuse
  • Moving the furniture incorrectly
  • Accidental damage
  • Unauthorized modification
  • Improper installation or handling
  • Use outside the intended purpose

The exact coverage will depend on the warranty provided for the particular product.

6. Workmanship Warranty

Where workmanship is covered, Kenzora Living may review issues relating to manufacturing or workmanship that fall within the applicable warranty period.

Examples may include certain manufacturing-related issues involving:

  • Stitching
  • Upholstery workmanship
  • Assembly
  • Construction
  • Other manufacturing work

Minor variations that naturally occur during furniture manufacturing do not automatically constitute workmanship defects.

7. What Is Not Covered Under Warranty

Unless specifically agreed otherwise, warranty coverage does not normally include damage or problems caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Accidental damage
  • Improper handling
  • Improper transportation after delivery
  • Unauthorized repair or modification
  • Alteration of the product by another person or service provider
  • Excessive loading or improper use
  • Exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions
  • Water or liquid damage
  • Stains
  • Burns
  • Cuts, tears, punctures, or scratches
  • Damage caused by pets
  • Damage caused by children or other external causes
  • Use of unsuitable cleaning chemicals
  • Failure to follow reasonable care and maintenance instructions
  • Commercial or unusual use where the product was intended for normal residential use, unless otherwise agreed
  • Damage caused after delivery through circumstances outside Kenzora Living’s control

These exclusions are subject to the specific warranty terms communicated for the customer’s product and applicable law.

8. Natural Material Characteristics

Furniture materials can naturally vary in appearance and texture.

Natural wood, leather, fabric, foam, and other materials may contain characteristics that make each product slightly different.

Depending on the material, customers may notice differences in:

  • Grain
  • Texture
  • Shade
  • Surface appearance
  • Stitching appearance
  • Leather markings
  • Fabric texture
  • Cushion appearance
  • Wood characteristics

Reasonable natural variations are not automatically considered manufacturing defects and may not qualify for warranty service.

9. Warranty Claim Process

If a customer believes that a product has developed an issue covered under warranty, the customer should contact Kenzora Living as soon as reasonably possible.

The customer may be required to provide:

  • Customer name
  • Order or purchase details
  • Date of purchase
  • Product details
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs or videos
  • Other information reasonably required to assess the claim

Kenzora Living may request photographs or videos before arranging an inspection or service visit.

Where necessary, Kenzora Living may inspect the product physically before determining whether the reported issue falls within the warranty.

10. Warranty Assessment

Submitting a warranty claim does not automatically mean that the claim will be approved.

Kenzora Living will assess:

  • The reported issue
  • The applicable warranty terms
  • The date of purchase
  • The condition of the product
  • The manner in which the product has been used
  • Whether the issue appears to be manufacturing-related
  • Whether the issue falls within the applicable warranty period
  • Whether any warranty exclusion applies

After assessment, Kenzora Living will determine the appropriate warranty resolution.

11. Warranty Remedies

If a claim is approved under the applicable warranty, Kenzora Living may provide an appropriate remedy depending on the nature of the issue.

The remedy may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement of a defective component
  • Re-upholstery where applicable
  • Replacement of applicable material
  • Adjustment or modification
  • Service or correction
  • Another appropriate remedy based on the circumstances

The specific remedy will depend on the nature of the defect, availability of materials or components, product condition, and applicable warranty terms.

12. Warranty Does Not Automatically Mean a Refund

A valid warranty claim does not automatically entitle the customer to cancel the order or receive a full refund.

Where a covered issue can reasonably be repaired, replaced, corrected, or serviced, Kenzora Living may provide the applicable warranty remedy instead of a refund.

Refunds, where applicable, will be considered separately according to the Refund & Returns Policy and applicable law.

13. Transportation and Service Charges

Where a warranty service is approved, Kenzora Living will communicate the applicable service arrangements to the customer.

Depending on the circumstances, transportation, delivery, pickup, installation, lifting, or other service-related charges may apply, particularly where the issue is outside the applicable warranty coverage or where the customer requests a service unrelated to a covered defect.

Where Kenzora Living agrees to provide a complimentary warranty service, the applicable charges, if any, will be communicated to the customer before the service is carried out.

14. Customer-Requested Changes Are Not Warranty Claims

A request to change a product after delivery does not automatically constitute a warranty claim.

For example, the following may not be treated as warranty defects when the product was manufactured according to the customer’s approved specifications:

  • Requesting a different colour
  • Requesting different fabric
  • Requesting different leather
  • Changing the sofa design
  • Changing the configuration
  • Changing dimensions
  • Requesting different stitching
  • Requesting different foam firmness
  • Requesting a different appearance
  • Changing the style after delivery

Such requests may be considered separately as paid modification, renovation, repair, or customization services where technically possible.

15. Warranty Becomes Invalid in Certain Circumstances

Warranty coverage may become unavailable where the product has been:

  • Modified without Kenzora Living’s approval
  • Repaired by an unauthorized third party
  • Re-upholstered by another service provider
  • Structurally altered
  • Used for a purpose for which it was not intended
  • Seriously damaged through misuse or negligence
  • Subjected to conditions specifically excluded under the applicable warranty

The final determination will depend on the circumstances and applicable warranty terms.

16. Warranty Transfer

Unless specifically agreed otherwise, the warranty is applicable to the original customer and the original purchase.

If ownership of the furniture is transferred to another person, warranty coverage does not automatically transfer unless Kenzora Living confirms the transfer in writing or the applicable warranty terms expressly provide otherwise.

17. Warranty Period

The warranty period begins according to the warranty terms applicable to the customer’s order, generally from the date of purchase or another date specifically communicated by Kenzora Living.

The warranty period applicable to each product or component will be based on the warranty terms provided during the order process.

Customers should retain their invoice, order confirmation, payment record, or other purchase documentation as proof of purchase.

18. Warranty After Repair or Replacement

Where a warranty claim results in a repair or replacement, any warranty applicable to the repaired or replaced component will be governed by the applicable warranty terms communicated by Kenzora Living.

A repair or replacement does not automatically restart or extend the entire warranty period unless Kenzora Living expressly confirms otherwise.

19. Proof of Purchase

Customers may be required to provide reasonable proof of purchase when making a warranty claim.

Acceptable proof may include:

  • Invoice
  • Order confirmation
  • Payment record
  • Receipt
  • Other purchase documentation issued or accepted by Kenzora Living

Failure to provide sufficient purchase information may delay the warranty assessment.

20. Customer Responsibility

Customers are expected to use and maintain their furniture reasonably and in accordance with any care instructions provided by Kenzora Living or the relevant material manufacturer.

Customers should take reasonable precautions to prevent avoidable damage to the product.

Warranty coverage is intended to address applicable manufacturing, material, or workmanship issues and is not intended to cover damage resulting from ordinary misuse, negligence, accidents, or improper care.

21. Warranty and Third-Party Materials

Where a particular material, component, or product is supplied by a third-party manufacturer, the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms may also apply.

Kenzora Living may assist the customer with the warranty process where appropriate, depending on the product and circumstances.

The coverage and duration of a third-party manufacturer’s warranty may differ from Kenzora Living’s own warranty terms.

22. Warranty Policy and Order Confirmation

The warranty terms communicated during the customer’s order confirmation form an important part of the applicable warranty arrangement.

Where the warranty period, covered components, exclusions, or other warranty conditions have been specifically agreed in writing for an individual order, those order-specific terms will apply to that product, subject to applicable law.

Customers are encouraged to review the warranty details before completing their purchase.

23. Relationship With Refund & Returns Policy

Warranty claims and refund or return requests are separate matters.

A customer should refer to the Refund & Returns Policy for rules relating to:

  • Order cancellation
  • Advance payments
  • Customer-requested cancellation
  • Returns
  • Refunds
  • Post-delivery refund requests
  • Customer preference changes
  • Refund processing

Refund & Returns Policy:
/refund-returns-policy/

This Warranty Policy applies specifically to warranty coverage and warranty-related service.

24. Policy Exceptions

Kenzora Living may review individual cases where circumstances require special consideration.

Any repair, replacement, service, goodwill adjustment, or other exception provided outside the standard warranty terms will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Providing an exception in one case does not automatically create an obligation to provide the same exception in another case.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to exclude or limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian law.
